British High Commission: Delivery Manager

Location: Gauteng

Role and Responsibilities of this Association Job Vacancy

  1. Provide leadership to the operational support functions in the Visa Department, including developing staff and management capability,
  2. Develop regular Head of Mission communications
  3. Following embedding of workflow changes, assess each function, section by section to enhance performance
  4. Develop and track business improvement planning incorporating all changes for Pretoria DMC and spokes
  5. Lead for HR policy, workforce strategy, and planning within Pretoria DMC and spokes, overseeing moderation.
  6. Supporting the Southern, East and Central African Operations Manager, leading on delivery of appropriate corporate change programmes and policies
  7. Staff Engagement
  8. Risk, business assurance, VAC assurance, integrity and audit lead for Pretoria DMC and spokes.
  9. Business Continuity Planning lead, responsible for ensuring BCP’s are up to date, communicated effectively and tested.
  10. Health and Safety policy
  11. Security policy
  12. Project support to Regional Director


  1. Knowledge of UKVI Immigration policy and operations essential
  2. Ability to work under pressure in an environment with ever changing priorities
  3. Comprehensive IT skills including use of Microsoft Office suite.
  4. Program and project management skills desirable
