AECOM: Senior Public Transport Planner

Location: Pretoria

Job Field: Administrative

Roles and Responsibilities of this AECOM Job Vacancy

  1. Management of projects and general financial monitoring of projects,
  2. Execution of projects that can range from:
  1. Integrated Transport Plans,
  2. Provincial Land Transport Frameworks,
  3. Drafting of Policy and Regulations,
  4. Planning/designing of public transport facilities,
  5. Liaison with bus companies & mini-bus taxi associations,
  6. Data gathering (surveys on vehicles, at public transport facilities),
  7. Feasibility studies,
  8. Designing public transport services for tender purposes etc,
  9. Compilation of proposals and tenders,
  10. Client liaison and marketing,
  11. Applying the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) in all work,
  12. Overseeing the development and training of junior personnel.

Requirements

  1. At least 10 years experience in the public transport planning field specifically.
  2. Minimum B degree,
  3. Preferably Honours in Transport Planning/Engineering,
  4. Should be able to effectively utilise Microsoft Word, Excel and MS Projects.

  4. Dedicated to deliver correct and accurate work – attention to detail,
